The Victims 2003
In 2002 I saw, by chance, on TV a copy of that photograph of the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto, and learned, to my joy and surprise that that small boy is alive, a doctor in New York with a name TSVI NUSSBAUM. So I painted him again, he surrenders along with Ezra Pound, both of them harmed by fascism. That is why it is called 'Victims'.
