This group of pictures follows on from 'Euclidian Landscape' of 1983. Memory selects and defines, remembrance enriches the important places. Recollection makes connections between the weather and the scents and sounds, between the history and the persons. Poussin and Cezanne come together and a child's Easter Garden can also be a geographic model, a shrine or simply a toy world.
