Makers 2000-2001
By the year 2000 I was so sickened by the art game, the magazines, the culture specialists and even the 'art lovers', that I wanted an alternative, a non-art subject. Something more natural, less aesthetic, more ordinary, less 'cutting edge'. So this one was to be about gardens and plants, gardeners and cultivators. These gardeners had other ideas - they began to decorate the space I had given them. They stenciled and became jewelers and dress designers and model makers. Notice that none of them became FINE artists, there are no painters or sculptors here.
But it ended up, as always, to be about ART. It still keeps the title 'Makers' because that's what we are.
